Camila Ribeiro da Silva, better known as Camila Morgado, (April 12, 1975, Petrópolis) is a Brazilian actress. Daughter of a trader and a housewife, since very early Camila Morgado decided that she wanted to be an actress.
She studied acting with Monah Delacy and went on to graduate from the Casa de Arte das Laranjeiras (CAL). Soon after the end of the course, Camila moved to São Paulo in order to study theater with Antunes Filho. She has performed in many plays of famous director Gerald Thomas.
In 2003 she obtained the lead role in the miniseries A Casa das Sete Mulheres (Portuguese for The House of the Seven Women), playing the character of the sweet Manuela, invited by director Jayme Monjardim, appearing for most of the Brazilian audience on television. In 2004 she played Olga Benário Prestes, in the film Olga, based on the book written by Fernando Morais and directed by Monjardim.
